Application Procedures

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

Scholarships

	Applicants can apply for "NCTU International Student Scholarship". If approved, the tuition coul be waived and applicants could also receive financial assistants from NT$10,000 /month. up to NT$20,000 /month. (This will need to be reapplied annually)

	Applicants can also choose to live in school dormitory at applicants' own cost.

	Attending students can also apply for Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant with a stipend of NT$6,000 each month.

Application Procedures

A. Application Requirements

	Master degree applicants must have a Undergraduate programor its equivalent to a graduating senior from an accredited college or university.

	PH.D. degree applicants must have a Master's degree or its equivalent to a graduating senior from an accredited college or university.

	An applicant should not hold the citizenship of ROC, or have applied for expatriate of the citizenship of ROC and have been approved for the application for at least eight years.

	Applicants should not have been dismissed or graduated from any school in Taiwan.

B. Required Documentation

	Application form

	GMAT score (code: 8715) is required by the following institutes/departments:

	Department of Management Science
	Institute of Business & Management
	Institute of Information Management
	Institute of Management of Technology
	Institute of Finance

	GRE score (code: 8715) is required by the following institutes/departments:

	Department of Industrial Engineering and Management
	Institute of Traffic and Transportation
	Department of Transportation Technology & Management

	A certified photocopy of Undergraduate programdiploma in English or Chinese, if graduated. Otherwise provide a letter which can prove the graduation upon the completion of courses in current semester.

	An official transcript.

	Two letters of recommendation in sealed envelops.

	A statement of health condition issued and a statement of financial support for study will be collected after the confirmation of admission.

	TOEFL score (code: 8715) for applicants whose primary language is not English.Please mail application documents to the following address by the dates listed below each year for enrollment in the coming semester:

C. Deadlines

	Spring semester starts in February. Applications must be postmarked by Oct. 31st. Fall semester starts in September. Applications must be postmarked by April 30th.
